As fans of the classic 1982 Sylvester Stallone film First Blood will know, when a small-town sheriff decides to pick on a US Army veteran with finely tuned combat skills, things don’t always turn out well for the cops.
And so it proves in the new Netflix action thriller Rebel Ridge, which pits ex-Marine Terry Richmond, played by The Underground Railroad’s Aaron Pierre, against the corrupt law-enforcement officers of Shelby Springs.
