Back in Action From Friday 17 January, Netflix
Actor Jamie Foxx hit the headlines at the end of 2024 when the Hollywood star revealed in a Netflix special that he'd been hospitalised after suffering a stroke while shooting high-octane movie Back in Action with Cameron Diaz.
Thankfully, after several weeks of treatment, the 57-year-old Oscarwinner was well enough to return to set to complete the action-packed film - which lands on Netflix this week.
Foxx and Diaz play former spies - married couple Matt and Emily who left the world of espionage behind 15 years ago to start a family, swapping adrenaline-fuelled missions for a sedate life of packed lunches and parents' evenings.
Their two children, Alice and Leo, know nothing about their mum and dad's secret past, but when they accidentally blow their cover, the truth comes out and the family must go on the run.
