THE REAL FULL MONTY: JINGLE BALLS NEW MON & TUE, 9PM, ITV1 ENTERTAINMENT

Since 2017, ITV has been raising awareness of life-changing cancer checks through The Real Full Monty franchise, which asks celebrities to bravely bare all in dazzling dance routines choreographed by Diversity frontman Ashley Banjo.

This year’s event, The Real Full Monty: Jingle Balls, sees Ashley and co-presenter Coleen Nolan again at the helm to help a new troupe of famous faces (see panel, right) as they prepare to give the performance of their lives.

Among the stars are Benidorm favourite and former Loose Women panellist Sherrie Hewson, who is taking part in memory of her beloved older brother, Brett, who passed away in April 2020, at the age of 71, following a brain- tumour diagnosis.

Here, in an exclusive interview with TV Times, Sherrie, 73, shares her story…

We are sorry for your loss, Sherrie. Why did you feel it was important to take part in this show?
