THE MUPPETS MAYHEM

After bursting onto our screens in 1975 during a pilot episode of variety extravaganza The Muppet Show and starring in a number of movie adventures, the six members of rock band Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem are about to take centre stage for the first time in their own spin-off series! Launching on Disney+ this Wednesday, The Muppets Mayhem follows Dr Teeth, Animal, Zoot, Janice, Lips and Floyd Pepper, who are all loosely based on real-life music icons, as they record their first studio album.

Aside from the Muppet performers themselves, the 10-part comedy also stars YouTuber-turned actor Lilly Singh as ambitious music executive Nora, who dreams of turning the group into a platinum-selling global success.

However, she soon finds herself having to drag the old-school rockers into the 21st century!
