Naina Bhan

Naina Bhan wears a lot of hats. With a degree in filmmaking, the actor has dabbled in many professions in the creative industry, from production, writing, to modelling. But Mumbai has always eluded her. Ironically, an acting gig convinced the Delhi girl to pack her bags and head to the city of dreams. “I am not a traditional actor, so my approach to acting is also not like a traditional person who comes to Mumbai to make it. I want to engage with acting in a way that makes it fun and exciting. Laterally, I am everywhere. There isn’t a part of filmmaking I haven’t touched. That helped me learn how to act even better because I knew certain things about filmmaking that others didn’t.” Bhan essays the role of the coquettish Koel on the show, who has a steamy dalliance with her partner, Sharan, and their romantic interest, Balli, before things go awry. For Bhan, landing the role of Koel was pure chance.
