As the creative director of B.P de Silva, dazzling gemstones and stunning creations surround Shanya Amarasuriya. Still, the pieces she holds closest to her heart are not dictated by rarity or price. "My most treasured piece of jewellery and the one I can't live without is my engagement ring. My husband designed it with references to art deco and how we first got together 14 years ago through a love letter hidden in a kaleidoscope," says Amarasuriya. This isn't the only ring she's fond of.
