The notion is that different sexes interpret and process situations so differently that they could very well be from two different planets. With the theme of the June/July issue being "Movement", we explore how people move on from their relationships - from the perspectives of a man and a woman. While the gender tropes of our parents no longer apply to this new generation of daters, is the stereotype that men think with their heads while women with their hearts completely gender-biased? Harmini Asokumar: How I Moved Forward
Harmini Asokumar is an artrepreneur and social media personality who has been creating "handmade and curated" wearable art since 2010, which she delivers to over 30,000 followers via her Instagram profile, @deeperthanfashion. An outgoing soul with a determined, gregarious spirit, Harmini champions equality and the importance of mental health alongside speaking out against discrimination in all its forms.
"In theory, moving forward should come easy since the natural cycle of time is paced that way. If only it were truly that simple - if time healed all heartbreaks and there was no heart-head conflict to overcome. I am no professional in this matter (though life experience that is not a verified certification, would say otherwise), but here are some thought processes and life hacks that have helped me heal.
