Tell us how Modern Folk Embroidery came about I was visiting my family in the Netherlands, and I saw an antique design my mum had in her collection. I wanted to stitch it, so made a little chart of the design. This was fun, so I started making a few more original designs to stitch for myself. Seeing them stitched, some friends recommended opening a shop.
