Taste maker Pip Edwards applied her fashion expertise to her new home, creating a peaceful haven for herself and her child. "Transferring my keen eye for colour at work to finding colour balance and harmony at home was fun," she says. "It turns out I have an obsession with chairs and lamps!" Here, Pip sits in the reading nook by the kitchen surrounded by some of her favourite things including a striking black and white piece constructed from an African mask, and "sentimental pieces collected over the years". Art on wall by unknown artist.

Like a diamond in the foyer (above), the Easy Rider artwork by Dina Broadhurst packs a glossy punch above a powder-coated Chub stool in Lemon Yellow from Curated Spaces. Bold moves "I've always wanted an oval dining table as it's more inviting," says Pip of her Sarah Ellison table (opposite). Vintage pendant and chairs from Tigmi Trading, a floor lamp from House of Slim and a Clementine Maconachie sculpture complete the setting. Artworks by Sarah Ellen. Candelabra, Merci Maison and Santal 33 candle, Le Labo.
"The vibe was based on the theme of green, which represents harmony, growth, creativity and abundance, which is what this move and new space represented for my son and I," says Pip.
