1 Using a tape measure and pencil, note down the length and width of your mirror. Equally divide the reflective space into sections. Make your measurement markings in pencil on the frame of mirror.
2 Use a handsaw and mitre box or a multi-angled allpurpose cutter, which is strong enough to cut through soft pine half rounds easily.
In this project I used the all-purpose cutter and easily made 90-degree straight cuts at the measurements required to create the windowpanes on the mirror surface. After cutting, lightly sand down the surface and edges till all pieces are smooth. Then wipe away saw dust.
