MFCentral, a collaborative effort of KFintech and M CAMS (the mutual fund registrar and transfer agents, RTAS) is the latest online platform to start offering the facility of buying and selling mutual funds.
The platform assumes significance because being a joint initiative of the RTAs, it removes all middle layers in the process and takes you directly to the ultimate storehouse of the records of your mutual fund investments.
The platform had commenced operations last year by offering non-financial transactions, such as change in nomination, consolidated account statement, etc. We had written an account of our first-hand experience of using it and found it to be quick, efficient and easy to navigate. Now, we bring to you our experience of making financial transactions through the platform.
