As I walk into the salon, I'm excited to see three little nooks for getting a mani-pedi. My feet (and hands) haven't been looked at for months, so I ask if I can squeeze in a pedicure too!
Beautylane's owner Janet says that we can do most of the pedicure at the same time as my hydrating facial, which sounds perfect. It's so nice to be able to get a few things done at once. After a foot soak, Janet leads me into the lovely treatment room to assess my skin. She feels that as I have a few broken capillaries, micro-needling wouldn't be the best choice.
Instead, she suggests their Skin Refining Facial Treatment, which is suitable for all skin types, plus some extra eye treatments. I tell her I'm in her hands and happy to go with her suggestions. She's had this Beautylane for 33 years, so she must know what she's doing!
A toning and hydrating facial
After a cleanse, we start with the patented award-winning facial treatment. The fruit acid serum is a natural peeling process that removes dead skin cells and refines pores. This makes the skin look brighter, and also makes it more receptive to whatever else is put on later. It also improves uneven skin tone, which is one of my issues.
