Ayurveda has its roots in the Traditions of the Nation, which aims to maintain the Ayu (lifespan) i.e.,the collaboration between the Sharira (body), Indriya (senses), Manas (mind) and Atma (soul-the ultimate seeker).
Ayurveda is a way of living life at all levels, consciously. Following the disciplinary instructions to maintain a healthy body (Sharira), to satiate the senses (Indriyas) in moderation, to rightly channelize the capacity of mind (Satwa), overall brings in a worthy experience for the ultimate seeker (the Atma).
