GOA MUST GET ZERO-CARBON EMISSION TAG BEFORE 2050: CM

According to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday, the state government is building infrastructure to achieve the zero carbon emission label before 2050, but it requires help from the business sector.

"We think Goa should be designated as having zero carbon emissions by 2050. In every manner, we strive to be the best state. We are constructing green energy infrastructure, including charging stations, added Sawant. During discussions on tourism and green investments at an event held to commemorate World Tourism Day, the chief minister made the audacious assertion that Goa was in a position to become the first state to accomplish the feat. The Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) and SKAL Goa jointly organized the event.
