Indigo breeze or fusion sky, milkshake or coral coast, sands of time or tropical tan, Swiss coffee or river reed, almond kiss or dried spices. No, these aren't a list of exotic cocktails rather names of paint shades by Asian Paints. With over 2,200 plus wall shades to choose from, the paint giant leaves you spoilt for choice.
However, before you fret over the picking a hue from the shade card Asian Paints eases the process by announcing Terra as the Colour of the Year 2024. Terra has been chosen for its rich primal tones that bear a strong sense of grounding and belonging. But more on that later. First, let's take a deeper look at ColourNext colour and material intelligence forecast for the year by the brand.
Like every year, there are four forecast stories. This year they are: Soil, Into the Deep, Indo Futurism and Goblin Mode. "As we mark the 21st year of Asian Paints ColourNext, it remains a driving force in shaping the design and decor industry adding to the colour and material intelligence in a strong way. Each carefully curated trend not only tells stories, but also serves to inspire and influence the industry towards ideas based on socio economic changes and the design evolution around us," says Amit Syngle, Managing Director and CEO, of Asian Paints.
