WHO pandemic treaty finds its way into proposed British legislation
GRAHAM JENNINGS
Uprising over lockdown legislation

TEN months ago, I was reading The Light's lead story, 'WHO wants to rule the world' (Issue 39, p1), with some scepticism.

'Forced injections, vaccine passports, lockdowns and no scrutiny', all under the title.

I wondered if this story was perhaps taking things just a little too far. After all, these faceless and unelected bureaucrats would surely hold no influence over any sensible politician or clear-thinking person having endured the previous covid crisis. On top of that, many people have been adamant that they could never get away with lockdowns again, as we, the people, simply would not put up with it.

Well, roll on only ten months, and imagine my shock and horror, as I discover that the newly-proposed Public Health Bill for Northern Ireland not only stipulates the aforementioned repressive measures, but goes even further.

The full document was an exhausting 79 pages of lofty and intimidating language, which would cause even the most keen reader to lose the will to live.
