After chaotic scenes in the streets of Vastral area of Ahmedabad on the night of Holi, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi has issued a strong statement, asserting that criminals have no caste, and that whoever indulges in terrorising people will face more stringent action.

Speaking to Mirror, Sanghavi said that complaints have been received about certain local police officers being in cahoots with gangsters and hooligans. In a major warning to law enforcement, he stated that if such incidents occur again, not only will strict action be taken against the criminals but also police officers responsible for negligence.
