JANNIK ATTACK

JANNIK SINNER arrived Novak "home" in Monaco targeting a second Grand Slam event triumph at the French Open and overtaking Djokovic as world No.1.

The Australian Open champion became the highest-ranked male Italian player ever by winning the Miami Open and climbing to world No.2.

His stunning start to the year has seen him win 22 out of 23 matches, while Djokovic is 8-3 including a shock defeat to world No.123 Luca Nardi and has just split with his coach Goran Ivanisevic.

The Serb is now only 1,015 points clear at the top of the rankings, with Carlos Alcaraz 65 points behind Sinner.
