ISRAELI forces have seized more than 7,000 Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza since the bloody war with Hamas began on October 7.
The prisoners were lifted at their homes, arrested at military checkpoints or forced to surrender while fighting in Gaza, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Society.
Their figures show that about 2,000 of the prisoners are being held without charge and about a third of those lined up for possible hostage swaps are under the age of 18.
