THE summer holiday washout is set to continue as Storm Antoni is poised to lash the UK with strong winds and heavy rain.
Gusts above 60mph are predicted to batter parts of Britain today in the first Met Office named storm of the year.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind in much of Wales and swathes of the south west of England.
It warned: "Injuries and danger to life from flying debris are possible.
"Injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto seafronts, coastal roads and properties.
