Hundreds of people braved the wind and rain to queue outside a bakery that is renowned for its Easter treats.
Some even read books while waiting to collect their holiday supplies.
One man in the line outside Raven's Bakery, in Brighton, said: "Somehow they make the cross bit taste good.
