BEACH Boys legend Brian Wilson has dementia, according to court documents.
Family members have applied to place the singer, 81, in a conservatorship - a legal guardianship - after the death last month of his wife, who helped to care for him.
Relatives say Brian, one of the greatest songwriters of all time, is unable to look after himself.
