EVAN FERGUSON has revealed Wayne Rooney is his goalscoring hero.
The Brighton striker became the first teenager since former England captain Rooney to score 10 Premier League goals in a calendar year.
Republic of Ireland hotshot Ferguson, 19, netted five times from January last season and scored his fifth of this campaign against Fulham on Sunday (below left).
New Birmingham boss Rooney scored 11 for Manchester United in 2005 and boyhood Old Trafford fan Ferguson said: "Yes, it is not bad, especially as a kid looking up to him and watching Wayne Rooney play.
