'Frankenstein killer" could be free in days

A FAMILY convinced their missing son was murdered by the Frankenstein killer are horrified the monster may be freed tomorrow.

The parents of naval rating Simon Parkes, who vanished in 1986 aged 18, are hoping a parole panel will deny double killer Allan Grimson his freedom.

The former Petty Officer, now 66, was jailed for 22 years in 2001 for murdering naval rating Nicholas Wright, 18, from Leicestershire, in 1997, and barman Sion Jenkins, 20, of Newbury, Berks, in 1998.

The victims, like Simon, were serving on the aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious.
