GEORGIA STANWAY is ready to do two jobs to hep England forget the loss of Keira Walsh.

The Bayern Munich midfielder says she is ready to step into the void left by her best mate and push the Lionesses over the finishing line in Group D.

Sarina Wiegman's side need just one point against China tonight to finish top of the pile but must overcome the loss of Barcelona midfielder Walsh, who suffered a worrying knee injury against Denmark which ruled her out of tonight’s clash at Hindmarsh Stadium. Asked whether she was up to the task, Stanway, who scored the winner against Haiti (main picture) said: “I feel a lot of confidence in my own game.

“I’ve been consistent on the back of the Euros and I just want to keep that momentum going.

“I can prove my leadership by the way that I’m playing. I can lead by example and I’m not afraid to communicate as well. I’ll be trying to do two jobs.”
