CHRIS EUBANK JNR admitted he struggled to deal with demons and critics for six months before he could get revenge against Liam 'Beefy' Smith.
The Brighton middleweight (celebrating, above) put in arguably the best performance of his career to triumph at Manchester Arena.
It was a one-sided demolition job from Eubank, who floored his rival in the fourth before finishing it in the 10th, after Smith had hit the canvas again.
It was a stark contrast to their first clash back in January when Smith ran through Eubank inside four rounds at the same venue. Eubank, 33, looked a fighter out of his depth that night as he was put down for the first time in his career, and despite having lost before that night, an air of invincibility around his fabled chin had disappeared.
But he showed there is still something left in the son of the former two-weight world champion as he dominated Smith.
"I had to fight some demons, there were a lot of things to prove," he said after extending his record to 33 wins from 36 outings.
