I WANTED TO JACK IT IN

JACK DRAPER has revealed he almost quit tennis during lockdown before going on to become one of the world’s best players.

The Brit, 23, lifted his biggest title at the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells on Sunday and broke into world's top 10 for the first time.

At No.7 in the world, Draper is now just 60 points behind fifth-ranked Novak Djokovic.

But Draper once doubted whether he was ready to commit to the life of a top tennis professional.

After his statement 6-2 6-2 win over Holger Rune in Sunday's final, the British No.1 said: “It was kind of a period during lockdown.
