BRITISH pensioner David Hunter said he is looking forward to finally eating a decent meal if he is freed from his jail in Cyprus next week.
David, 76, looked pale and gaunt as he appeared in court yesterday for the first time since being cleared last week of murdering his terminally ill wife Janice, 74, in December 2021.
He was due to be sentenced yesterday for the manslaughter of his childhood sweetheart but the hearing was adjourned until Monday, when he could walk free if he receives a suspended jail term.
