DOTING Prince William made a hospital dash to be at Kate's bedside yesterday as she recovered from surgery.
The Prince of Wales, 41, was flanked by bodyguards as he visited his wife after abdominal surgery.
William was spotted leaving The London Clinic behind the wheel of a £139,000 electric Audi E-Tron GT Carbon Vorsprung, followed by bodyguards in a Range Rover.
Kate, 42, is said to be "doing well" after spending three nights on a private ward after a major operation. William has taken time off to be with her and to look after their children over the coming weeks.
Royal trips to Latvia and Italy have been put on hold as Kate recovers, sources say.
A royal insider said: "It goes without saying that William's priority is for his wife's wellbeing and his children's welfare.
