THE red half of Merseyside is in meltdown after Jurgen Klopp revealed yesterday he is quitting Liverpool FC.
Devastated fans said the shock departure of the club's much-loved manager is like a dad walking out of the family home.
Some have called for him to be honoured with a statue at the club's Anfield stadium.
He has won the love of supporters during his nine seasons in charge by winning six major trophies, including the Champions League and the Premier League.
It was the first time they were champions of England for 30 years.
