THE lottery tickets mum Deborah Burgess had bought were the last thing on her mind when she went into hospital with a chronic illness.
It was only when she recovered and checked her emails two months later that she found she had won £1million.
The hospital administrator, 56, said: "There were so many emails after not going online for a while.
"I noticed I had one from The National Lottery so I checked my account with my mum, there and then. I had the shock of my life.
Deborah bought a batch of tickets online and did not know her numbers 2, 7, 17, 31 and 37 came up on August 19.
