THE King and Queen visited the Princess of Wales at her hospital bed before he was admitted to the same clinic for a prostate operation.
Sources said Charles and Camilla were keen to see how Kate is doing as she recovers from abdominal surgery.
Following yesterday's visit, the King had a corrective procedure after being diagnosed with an enlarged prostate.
When asked how Charles was faring after the operation, the Queen was overheard telling staff at the private hospital: "He's doing well, thank you." She appeared to be in good spirits as she left the building at 3.10pm, smiling at reporters before getting into a car.
