BRIGHTON’S Jack Hinshelwood insists he will not be resting on any laurels after a spectacular breakthrough last season.
And his mantra could be one for the whole club, with the Seagulls having attained a best-ever sixth place in the Premier League.
Brighton are renowned for scouring the globe for the best young talent but they did not have to look too far for the versatile Chichester-born star.
Still just 19, Hinshelwood put in a run of impressive displays after bursting into the side until injury cut short his season and saw Brighton’s results falter.
Itching to re-enter the fray, Hinshelwood said: “What I have already done for the club is nice, but it is all about what happens in the future now. I can’t rely on my past to get me anywhere.
