SCOTT ROBERTSON has faced down a shark-so had no worries about taking the New Zealand head coach's job when it was put on the table.

The position of All Blacks boss is one of the most scrutinised in sport and in this rugby-mad country he has even more pressure to deliver than Gareth Southgate does in England.

Robertson, 49, had known he would get the gig since March last year and has been in position officially since November but he will coach his first Test match on Saturday against England in Dunedin.
