Harry raring to go again and says England fancy their chances of retaining T20 crown
READY STEADY BROOK

HARRY BROOK says England are brimming with confidence heading into the T20 World Cup and 'fancy their chances' of repeating their 2022 heroics.

The reigning champions claimed the crown with six balls to spare in a tense final with Pakistan two years ago and get their defence under way against neighbours Scotland in Barbados tomorrow.

England are among the favourites to reach the final at the end of the month and had their first training session yesterday to kick-start their preparations.

"Everybody's really excited. We fancy our chances," Brook said. "We've got a very good side and squad depth around T20 cricket and we're confident we can bring it home again."

Brook has had to overcome a difficult start to the year which forced him out of action for an emotional and extended absence.
