JURGEN KLOPP regrets his touchline behaviour against Tottenham on Sunday - mainly because it robbed his players of the acclaim they deserved.
The Liverpool boss accepts that he overstepped the mark with his emotional reaction towards match officials during the 4-3 win at Anfield.
His main regret, though, is that he took the limelight from his players, who conjured a stunning injury-time winner.
"We won a football game 4-3 in a very spectacular manner and the only headlines are the ones I created and I really regret that," Klopp said. "It is absolutely not necessary and not how it should be.
"Now I hope you realise I am in a completely different mood. I said it was my fault but I didn't think it was that bad. But things that don't look that bad in your own mind are sometimes seen differently by the outside world."
Klopp was in contrite mood ahead of tonight's clash with Marco Silva's Fulham side as he addressed the controversy he sparked on Sunday afternoon.
