C-3PO star's souvenir has sales tag of $1m

A C-3PO head from the Star Wars movie Return of the Jedi is expected to fetch up to $1million at auction in the US.

The estimated sales tag of nearly £800,000 for the light-up memento from the 1983 film comes a year after another C-3PO head, used in the first Star Wars film from 1977, sold for £687,500 in the UK.

Both props belonged to actor Anthony Daniels, 77, who played the droid.
