ITV want Boris Johnson to join other creepy-crawlies in jungle

BORIS Johnson has held talks over appearing on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

ITV chiefs are believed to have made an offer that would dwarf the £400,000 paid to fellow Tory MP Matt Hancock last year and even the £500,000 Boy George reportedly got to star with him.

The jungle talks come six years after his dad Stanley Johnson received a reported £200,000 when he appeared on the hit ITV show.

Insiders say TV bosses were convinced that Johnson would be a ratings winner and therefore worth paying a record fee to get on screen.

An encounter between Boris and hosts Ant and Dec would be very interesting.
