WHEN Richard Nuttall got an email on holiday saying he had won a prize on the EuroMillions, he hoped it would be enough to buy a bacon butty.
But after he and wife Debbie learned it was actually a life-changing £61.7million, they went mental" in their rented VW Polo.
It reminded Richard of Del Boy and Rodney in the famous scene from Only Fools and Horses in 1996, when the pair finally celebrate becoming millionaires in their trusty Reliant Regal.
But this was real. Richard said: "The lady checked with her manager and then came back on the line to say - and I'll never forget these words - 'I can confirm you are the winners of the £61,708,321 EuroMillions jackpot.
"Well, by this time me and Debs are going mental, jumping up and down in our car seats, punching the air, thumping the dashboard.
"It was the whole Del Boy and Rodney scene when they became millionaires outside Sotheby's." The Nuttalls' win - a half share of a £123m jackpot - puts them in the same wealth bracket as TV stars Ant and Dec and some Premier League footballers.
