MARCUS SMITH wants to put the All Blacks on the hook because this could be England's last chance to do it in a Test series in New Zealand.
The fly-half was the star of the show on a squad fishing trip in Auckland last weekend but that was small fry compared to the clash against the All Blacks in Dunedin on Saturday before the Eden Park rematch a week later.
Future plans for tours from 2026 are still up in the air but the likelihood is two-Test series will be out of the window.
A new Nations Championship is being put in place which would see summer jaunts played against three countries instead of old school tours.
England have won just twice in New Zealand, in 1973 and 2003, but have never won a series.
And Smith has told his side to make history with a series win - because there might not be another one.
