CRACKING... Gavin & Stacey stars have arrived in Barry Island to begin filming the show's Christmas special.
Ruth Jones, 57, who co-writes the sitcom and co-stars as Nessa, has been posing with fans at the seaside resort.
This is being billed as the BBC sitcom's last-ever episode. It will be the first instalment since the 2019 Christmas special.
Co-writer James Corden, 46, who plays builder Smithy, shared a photo of his character's new work van and said: "Day 1. Here we go."
A pledge on the vehicle says: "Smithy's... if your husband won't do it - I will."
