A PERFORMER plunged from a Wheel of Death as hundreds of horrified circus fans looked on.
Luckily, the acrobat escaped with a damaged wrist and the audience was evacuated so he could be treated by emergency services.
He fell from a giant spinning device which has performers on either end at Blackpool Tower.
One witness said: "The guy landed right in front of us and came down with a fair bump. He was in serious pain."
