A CANCER-STRICKEN schoolboy who was given a second chance at life is helping other sick kids facing a shattering diagnosis.

Triplet Caleb Stirrat, 7, was given months to live after an aggressive brain tumour returned.

But the youngster enjoyed a fourth Christmas his parents never thought he would see after a new trial drug stopped the tumour in its tracks.

And despite their own struggles, the big-hearted family have now helped several others who have a child facing palliative care after launching a charity in Caleb's name. Mum Karen, from Clydebank, said: "Three years ago we were told Caleb probably wouldn't get to Christmas and now look at him.
