BRIDGERTON star Ruby Barker has told how she took an overdose of pills and drink after suffering domestic abuse.
The Scots actress opened up about a recent abusive relationship where her ex allegedly spat on her face and threatened to punch her.
She also claimed she suffered anguish as she grew up in Glasgow and says she was repeatedly assaulted and abused.
Ruby, 27, says her most recent abuse took place following the death of her father from cancer at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in January last year.
The actress, who plays Marina Thompson in Netflix hit Bridgerton, claimed in a post on social media she had been hospitalised in November after an overdose due to experiencing abuse at the hands of a man she met following her dad's funeral.
