Chef 16 times drug limit at the wheel

A CHEF caught driving while 16 times the cocaine limit led police on a high-speed chase a day later.

But George Kane walked free from court despite a sheriff branding his driving "appalling" and "disgraceful".

Kane was so heavily under the influence of the Class A drug he had to be given an emergency Naloxone injection after his car was stopped.

He was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment. But within hours of being released he was back behind the wheel and leading police through city streets at excessive speed.

Kane, 30, admitted driving a Vauxhall Corsa while he was unfit through drink or drugs on Arbroath Road, Dundee, on March 28, 2022.
