AN ADVENTURER has shared the heartbreaking news that the rescue dog has walked thousands of miles with him for charity is dying.
Chris Lewis rehomed Jet – a 12-year-old Greyhound mix – from Ayrshire in 2018 while on a 19,000-mile charity walk.
Chris was homeless after leaving the army and Jet helped her new owner navigate mental health challenges while he walked the entire coastline of the UK. Chris and Jet went on to raise over £30,000.
