COPS FEAR MUM 'MAY HAVE COME TO HARM': NEW SEARCH FOR MISSING KHASHA

POLICE have launched a fresh search for missing mum-of-three Khasha Smith 10 months after her last contact with family.

Concerned detectives fear the 36-year-old "may have come to harm" and are conducting a search near her home in the Calder Grove area of Edinburgh where she lived with her partner.

An investigative team are on the scene as they try to find Khasha, who was reported missing on January 5.

Khasha was last seen safe during a FaceTime call with a friend on October 10, 2023.

She is believed to have made contact with her loved ones between November 1 and 4, before being reported missing two months later.

Ahead of the search yesterday, Detective Chief Inspector Bob Williamson said they are following "several lines of enquiry".

He explained: "We continue to follow up several lines of enquiry and we are working to find answers for Khasha's family.
