Robbo so glad to be back as he tells Klopp to get ready for rousing send-off from Kop
HELLO & GOODBYE

ANDY ROBERTSON thanked the Liverpool fans for giving him a rousing reception as he made his long-awaited return from injury last night.

And the Scotland skipper warned outgoing boss Jurgen Klopp he'd better prepare himself for an even bigger ovation when he brings the curtain down on his reign at the end of the season.

Robertson came off the bench in the second half of the Reds' FA Cup victory over Norwich for his first action in more than three-and-a-half months and revealed the fans' reaction made the tough days in rehab worthwhile.

The 29-year-old underwent surgery on a shoulder injury sustained in Scotland's 2-0 Euro qualifying defeat in Spain on October 12.

But his return to action will be a huge boost to Steve Clarke and the Tartan Army with preparations for the summer's Euros in Germany stepping up with a friendly double-header against the Netherlands and Northern Ireland in March.

After playing his part in the demolition of the Canaries, Robertson said: "It was amazing, that's the feeling I've been waiting for.
