HELP US SAVE ARYA

THE family of a little girl who has been given just months to live are desperately searching for treatment to save her.

Jordan Tripney and Lisa Crawford's daughter Arya, two, was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer on January 24.

Medics told the tot's devastated parents that her tumour - a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) - is inoperable and that radiotherapy treatment will only help her survive for another six to nine months.

Jordan, who said the family's hearts have been "ripped out" by Arya's diagnosis, is now searching for a clinical trial to help his child.

The 33-year-old dad told the Record: "Arya had a wee cold before this happened but she still seemed her normal, cheeky, happy wee self.
