It's clear and obvious that delay has given the advantage to Dundee

NICK MONTGOMERY says Dundee have been handed an obvious advantage” as the race for the top six reaches its climax.

The Hibs boss voiced his frustration that lessons haven't been learned by the Dark Blues and the SPFL amid the Dens Park pitch farce. Montgomery believes Rangers gaffer Philippe Clement was right to express his dismay that his side's game at Dundee was called off for a second time in midweek.

They will try yet again on Wednesday and Montgomery fears that will potentially leave Hibs sweating over their top-six destiny.

The Easter Road men travel to fellow top-half challengers Motherwell today a point behind Dundee but with a better goal difference.
